The sledge run from Fiescheralp to Lax is, at 13 km, one of the longest and most spectacular runs in the Swiss Alps. Because the altitude difference is over 1,100 metres, the descent is breathtaking — through snowy pine forests and past impressive mountain panoramas. In good snow conditions you can also ski directly from Fiescheralp to LuxLax on the same piste: 13 km!
From LuxLax you first take the train at Lax to Fiesch (5 min), where you transfer directly to the cable car. Ten minutes later you are at Fiescheralp and therefore ready for the descent to Lax, which ends literally in front of the house!
The sledge run is not a purpose-built toboggan track but a 13 km winter trail for ordinary sledges. With enough snow you can even ski all the way down to the front door of LuxLax.
